MDS (formerly known as Mad Dog Stu) began his DJ journey in the early 1990s, honing his skills on belt-drive decks shared with friends and performing wherever he could share his passion for music.

Starting with house parties, pubs, and bars, he soon progressed to larger events, playing at renowned raves and club nights across Surrey and the South Coast. His experience includes sets at Fusion @ The Empire in Bognor Regis and Jungle Pressure @ The Mansion House (formerly Sterns), where he became known for his dynamic and genre-spanning performances.

After a decade-long break to focus on family life, MDS reignited his love for electronic music, joining an online dance music station and expanding his reach across multiple online and DAB platforms. His career has since taken him to stations across the UK and even Ibiza, showcasing his versatility and deep appreciation for electronic sounds.

Now a proud member of the Fresh Soundz family, MDS delivers an eclectic mix of house and techno on his Hump Day Brunch show, bringing his signature style and energy to the airwaves. With a love for all things electronic—ranging from drum and bass to garage, ambient, and beyond—MDS continues to push boundaries and share his passion with listeners worldwide.
